Wilco Preschool Graduation Class of 2022

Graduation is such a special milestone in a child’s life.  The Wilco Preschool Graduation ceremony is a great opportunity to celebrate learning and to recognize an important milestone, one that may be the first of many milestones. Wilco Area Career Center is proud to promote this innate feeling of pride and accomplishment as students receive their preschool diploma.  From the tassel on the graduation cap to hearing the ceremonial music of “Pomp and Circumstance” for the first time, graduation is a special moment.

On Thursday, May 19th Wilco celebrated the Preschool Class of 2022 with family and friends.  Congratulations to the Class of 2022!

Jaxon Adamsheck, Emmanual Aguirre, Konnor Arundel, Makenzi Brennan, Hunter Bruzan, Aiden Buck, Landon Burke, Enzley Contreras, Andrew Cope, Zelda Escutia-Giron, Ryker Forrest, Thea Glakas, Leah Greer, Roman Haenke, Jaylen Holloway, Mimoza Ibraimi, Skylar Lhotak, Ashley Mallaney, Alexander Martinez, Isaac Patzer, AnaJane Pena, Emily Sherman, Lakeleigh Stout, William Taskila, Alayna Tijerina and Luke Zastawny

Celebrating milestones and educational achievements helps give children a sense of accomplishment and pride.

The Wilco Early Childhood Education program provides first-year students with basic knowledge and skills for those working with or seeking to work with young children.  The second year students continue to teach in the preschool lab but are considered "experienced teachers".  Wilco program instructors, Jennifer Leighter-Yeates, Julia Oglesby and Carol Schroeder instruct their high school students with curriculum and techniques to teach in the preschool lab with children ages 3, 4, and 5 years old.
