Our winning door is from the EMS classroom. It really looked like the back of an ambulance, flashing lights and all!
EMS door mat with flashing lights and music. Ho Ho Ho!
Every EMS student decorated a reindeer with their name and their own personalities.
More reindeer!
Game Design was the high tech entry this year! They had a video screen and you could play a game while looking at the door!
Bottom of Game Designs' door. The students put their teacher as the PacMan on top of the tree!
All the students who helped decorate made their own little PacMan ghost to run along the wall.
Game Design also decorated the wall next to their door with a video game poster and made him into a Santa Ice King. LOL
Intro to Health had an adorable Minions door!
A close up of the minion tells us to push the button. And of course music played!
On the wall next to the Minion door, the students made a lit up tree and little minions along the wall had the students names on them.
Criminal Justice had Police Officer Frosty arresting the Gingerbread Man. So funny!
Around the Criminal Justice door were snowflakes with each of the student's names on them.
Inside Mrs. Gunther's Criminal Justice classroom is another door decorated. This time Santa is caught in the act going up the chimney!
Early Childhood had a beautiful and elegant Christmas Tree on their door.
Vet Assisting had a whimsical depiction of animals, bones, and lots of things that apply to their class. And of course some lighted garland around the door.

Our students outdid themselves this year with the door decoration contest! Everything from elegant, whimsical, hi-tech, to downright funny has given the halls of Wilco a big dose of holiday cheer! The judges had a hard time deciding on the winners. There were so many great ideas! EMS ended up edging out for the win with their realistic depiction of the back of an ambulance, including the flashing lights! Every student also decorated a reindeer and participated in joining in the holiday fun! 2nd place went to the hi-tech Game Design door. There was a video screen on the door and you could take the controller and play a video game when visiting. The students decorated their own PacMan ghost to trail along the door. Amazing job, students! 3rd place went to Intro to Health's adorable minion door. There was even a button to push to start music playing. Also, the students decorated their own little minion who lined around the wall near the lit up Christmas tree! So fun!
