Introduction to Health Professions Course Description
This course provides an overview of the healthcare industry, covering medical ethics and law, current trends, and career exploration. It includes an introduction to medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, vital sign measurement, mathematical conversions, standard precautions training, basic cardiac life support skills, and first aid. The purpose of the course is to help students make informed decisions about healthcare careers and learn fundamental skills across all areas of the healthcare field.
